There’s Now a Dating App for Cat Lovers

Has your love life been a disaster? Well, there's an app for that! Tabby - The Cat Person's Dating App is an offshoot of Dig - The Dog Person's Dating app, launched in 2018 by sisters Leigh and Casey Isaacson. Tabby is a great way for cat lovers to meet each other. The app has partnered with two influential social media cat fathers, Nathan "The Cat Lady" Kehn and Sterling "TrapKing" Davis, to get the message out.

Cat fathers in particular love this idea. Recent studies have shown that men get fewer hits on general dating applications if there are cats in their dating profile photos.

"Cats are a way of life," says Nathan, who is a father of four cats. "People who love cats are just as unique as the cats they love, but we understand each other. Finding someone who loves cats the way you do is vital.

Cat lovers and cat owners will be able to meet each other, plan cat-friendly appointments, share videos, photos and stories, and get contracts from pet companies.

"I want people to know that being compassionate and saving cats is a great thing," said Sterling Davis, who runs a non-profit cat spaying and neutering association in Atlanta. "If I can show other men that there are people out there who really appreciate what they are doing, maybe we can help them find love AND find other homes for cats at the same time".
